Patrick Terminals - Sydney AutoRail
The Patrick Sydney AutoRail Terminal provides a direct connection for importers and exporters to the Sydney rail network and intermodal terminals.
The fully automated rail terminal connects directly to the deepwater berth quay line providing seamless freight movement between vessel and rail.
Patrick Intermodal
Operating along the Adelaide to Melbourne corridor, Patrick Rail specialises in providing import and export rail access to all container terminals in the Port of Melbourne.
The Patrick Rail team is focused on our customers’ competitiveness by lowering their supply chain costs through partnering with ports and logistics providers.
NOC
Our National Operations Centre (NOC) is a 24-hour nationwide vessel planning, vessel scheduling and customer support centre which provides a single point of contact for all customer queries.
Our NOC team are experienced in monitoring terminal performance as well as optimising customer metrics through market analysis.
Large Vessel Capability
Patrick Terminals service large vessels in our key ports throughout Australia. We coordinate large vessels entering our key ports by liaising with Port Authorities, Pilots, the Harbour Master, tugs and other stakeholders.
Patrick Terminals is able to handle vessels larger than 9600 TEU. Our premium quay-line in Sydney measures 1.4 km, with dedicated berthing for larger vessels, this quay line is fitted with three Liebherr 20 container-wide outreach cranes.
Terminal Services
Patrick Terminals operate four terminals in key locations around the Australian seaboard in the ports of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. These terminals offer unparalleled productivity, R&D performance and import and export capabilities for our clients.
The Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad was the first automated container terminal in Australia, while the Patrick Terminals – Sydney AutoStrad is the largest container terminal in Sydney by capacity.
Break-Bulk
The Patrick Terminals NOC team work closely with shipping lines’ special project cargo requests by providing support, guidance and competitive pricing.
By working together with shipping lines’ break-bulk and customer service staff, we are able to provide a simplified and smooth operation. Project cargo varies from yachts to helicopters, excavators, transformers and more.
Container Solutions
CargoLink provides a dedicated handling and delivery solution for empty containers at each of our terminals. CargoLink allows customers to de-hire empty containers to facilities adjacent each of our terminals reducing overall costs of empty equipment positioning.
