OptiBook to launch at Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad in November

Patrick Terminals and OneStop are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of OptiBook at Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad Terminal on Saturday, 8 November 2025. The new container management solution integrates with the OneStop Vehicle Booking System to improve operational efficiency and provide greater transparency across the landside supply chain.

OptiBook provides Patrick Terminals customers with enhanced visibility of container status, expedited access to available containers and an improved slot booking process. The new system facilitates more efficient truck bookings for containers that have been discharged and deemed ‘ready’ while providing a transparent process for confirming truck slots.

To support a smooth transition, OneStop, in conjunction with Patrick Terminals, hosted an OptiBook Familiarisation Workshop on Wednesday, 8 October 2025. The session provided an overview of the system’s functionality and helped prepare transport operators for the upcoming go live.

OneStop will also host two online, one-hour OptiBook Carrier Training Sessions to provide practical guidance on using the new platform:

  • Session 1: Thursday, 30 October from 1300 to 1400
  • Session 2: Wednesday, 5 November from 1300 to 1400

Registration links for these sessions will be distributed to carriers by OneStop ahead of the training dates.

The go-live has been deliberately scheduled for a Saturday (8 November) to minimise disruption to the transport and logistics industry during the busy pre-Christmas period, as weekend operations are typically quieter than weekdays.

OptiBook represents an advancement in landside container management. The system provides enhanced visibility into container availability and integrates with the OneStop Deliver App providing landside operators with real-time access to timeslot bookings and manifest information. OptiBook has been developed by OneStop in close consultation with landside operators, incorporating industry feedback to ensure a practical and efficient solution.

Sam Askin, CEO OneStop, said: “We are delighted to introduce the OptiBook platform at Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad. This rollout marks another milestone in streamlining container transport management. OneStop looks forward to ongoing collaboration with Patrick Terminals and the broader transport industry to deliver more efficient and connected operations through seamless system integrations.”

Matt Hollamby, Terminal Manager – Patrick Terminals Brisbane AutoStrad, said: “We’re pleased to launch OptiBook at our Brisbane AutoStrad Terminal. This innovative system improves landside efficiency by providing real-time container visibility, smarter booking options and improving truck flow through our terminal. This initiative further strengthens our long-standing commitment to the landside, which remains a key source of competitive advantage for Patrick Terminals as we continue to drive operational excellence and industry collaboration.”

Transport operators will shortly receive documentation and support materials for the transition to the new booking system. Transport operators will also be provided with detailed instructions for downloading and using the OneStop Deliver App.
